Located in a renovated industrial building in Olneyville, WaterFire arts center hosts a wide variaty of art exhibitions, maker's markets, and performances, as well as hosting a shop with original works, prints, and books, and clothing celebrating the unique art scene of the city of Providence.
AS220 is a non-profit community arts organization focused on providing affordable access to art and it's in downtown Providence
They operate 5 galleries with different focuses, all of which are free for the public to view. Their main gallery is also home to their mainstage, where they host regular music performances with local artists for all ages and affordable prices. Their mainstage location also has a bar despite being an all ages venue, so it is great for friend groups with mixed ages.
They also operate a community studio/makerspace as well as a dance studio, both of which offer regular workshops and lessons

On campus at the Rhode Island School of Design, the RISD museum features hundereds of art pieces ranging from ancient times to contemporary pieces. There is also a seperate gallery specifically for the works of RISD students. There is a dead guy there (His name is Nesmin).

The Providencec Public Library's workshop allows the public to utalize sewing eqipment, 3d printers, vinyl cutters, stop motion equiment, and more. They offer all-ages open studio's once a week on tuesdays, an adult-only open studio on Thursdays, and special equiment training days on Mondays.

The AS220 community studios offer access to communal working spaces and computers for free to members. Paying members get access to a visual arts studio, darkroom, printshop, and apparal design studio and communal art supplies. They regularly host workshops on a wide range of artistic projects.
The AS220 dance studio has afforadble ($15 per lesson) dance lesson almost every day. The difficulty level ranges from beginner to advanced.

The Wurks is a collabrativley managed community workspace in Olneyville, Providence. They offer studio space, a wood shop, metal shop, and print shop.

RI Center for Photographic Arts is a member-funded organization that aims to promote and inspire photo-based artwork in Rhode Island. They offer free peer-review workshops, exhibitions, oppurtunities to talk with other artists, as well as more in-depth paid workshops.
